It’s my birthday today! I’m 12…can you believe it? I can’t! I don’t feel a day over 5.

We’re keeping decorations a little simple this year, although I am wearing my birthday hat and birthday princess necklace.

My human put together an awesome cake! Although the candles seemed to have a problem staying on.

I was very excited about the cake.

I finished it in record time! Which was good because my human couldn’t wait to bring out my birthday gift.

It’s a life-sized, custom made puppet of me! And apparently there is a story behind it.

On Valentine’s Day, after my human and her boyfriend were coming back from dinner, they stopped at a small cat art show. There were all sorts of fun things, but my human really fell in love with these cat puppets. It turned out the artist, LallyKat Puppets, had an Instagram. So my human got in touch with her about custom making me a puppet. And no, she did not ask for a discount or anything. Because artists deserve to be paid in full for their time and effort.

The artist included all sorts of personal details. Note that she included both my eye and nose freckles! My human didn’t even mention them, she just did it.
