LaSalle business targeted by gunfire

Montreal police have launched an investigation after a business in the borough of LaSalle was targeted by gunfire early Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Manuel Couture said a 911 call reporting the incident was received around 2:30 a.m.
Police viewed a surveillance-camera recording that showed a single person opening fire on the business on Newman Blvd. near Angrignon Blvd. around 12:30 a.m.
The 911 call was made after an employee noticed a bullet impact, Couture said. Shell casings were found at the scene.
There were no injuries reported.
