21st seed Jiri Lehecka will face Martin Landaluce in the quarterfinals of the Miami Open 2026.
Lehecka beat Moise Kouame and Ethan Quinn in straight sets to book his spot in the fourth round, where sixth seed Taylor Fritz awaited him. Lehecka claimed the opening set with a single break of serve in his favor.
Fritz leveled the proceedings after capturing a hard-fought second set in a tie-break. The momentum shifted in Lehecka’s direction in the deciding set, who broke the American’s serve twice for a 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-2 win.
Landaluce came through the qualifying rounds and beat Marcos Giron in straight sets in the first round. Landaluce sustained this momentum to race ahead 3-0 in the third set. Korda clawed his way back into the match with a three-game run to level the score. However, the pressure to stay in the match in the 10th game proved to be too much for him. Landaluce snagged one final break of serve to score 2-6, 7-6 (6), 6-4 win.
