In Your Radiant Season has aired episodes 6 and 7 on March 13 and 14, 2026, on MBC. The series broadcast every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. KST, with episodes 8 and 9 set to air on March 20 and 21. The drama is directed byJeong Sang-hee and Kim Young-jae, and stars Lee Sung-kyung and Chae Jong-hyeop in the lead roles.
In Your Radiant Season follows Sunwoo Chan, a spirited animator whose life changes after a mysterious accident. He meets Song Ha-ran, a skilled designer with lingering emotional scars. Drawn to her, he forms a bond that helps them both confront their pasts and find comfort in each other.
What to expect in the upcoming episode of In Your Radiant Season
In the upcoming episode of In Your Radiant Season, Ha-ran confronts Sunwoo Chan about why he keeps calling his growing feelings for her “greed.” The two continue spending time together, deepening their bond and she also urges him to reconcile with his father.
Meanwhile, Nana Kim’s friend, the coffee shop owner, grows concerned about her health, sensing that something may be wrong. However, uncertainty and suspense build when Ha-ran is seem anxiously questioning something, calling it a lie and struggling to make sense. The upcoming episodes can bring emotional and heartfelt moments as well as tension as the characters navigate their feelings and past conflicts.
In Your Radiant Season episodes 6–7 recap: Sunwoo Chan returns as he and Ha-ran confront painful pasts and share their first kiss
Episode 6 of In Your Radiant Season begins with Sunwoo Chan suddenly leaving South Korea for the United States after receiving an urgent call from his boss. Before leaving, Sunwoo Chan tries to call Ha-ran, but she is in a meeting and misses it.
Ha-ran later discovers that all animation projects have been halted due to administrative changes, summoning Sunwoo Chan back. Even though she understands the reason, his absence deeply affects her leaving her heartbroken.
At first, she keeps checking her phone, hoping to hear from him. Eventually, she stops looking at it and throws herself into work in order to cope. The design team moves on to a new project for the upcoming season.
Later, Nana Kim speaks with Ha-ran about Sunwoo Chan. Ha-ran admits that spending time with him brought back a part of herself she thought she had lost. She says she misses him deeply and regrets only not knowing him before.
One day, Ha-ran receives a reminder about a dinner reservation she has once made with Sunwoo Chan. Encouraged by a colleague, she goes to the restaurant and there Sunwoo Chan suddenly appears.

Realizing he is truly there overwhelmed she runs to hug him. Sunwoo Chan explains that he has successfully convinced the administration to restart the project, allowing the animation team to return.
Later, Sunwoo Chan realizes he left his suitcase at the airport. Seeing snowfall and knowing that she dislikes the first snowfall, he asks Ha-ran to go home knowing but she still goes to the airport making him surprised.
Ha-ran admits she dislikes snow less now and says she does not want to regret failing to treat him kindly. Moved by her words, Sunwoo Chan hugs her, and the two return home holding hands.
The next day the design team gathers at the café to celebrate the animation team’s return. While helping behind the counter, Sunwoo Chan accidentally knocks down a bottle. The sound triggers a brief flash of memory involving a hazardous liquid bottle falling, a large explosion and a faint ringing of someone’s bracelets, though he cannot understand its meaning.
The next day, Sunwoo Chan takes Ha-ran to his grandfather’s pottery exhibition. As they prepare to leave, Ha-ran realizes she forgot to give his grandmother a congratulatory bouquet, so they return to the exhibition hall.

There they unexpectedly encounter Sunwoo Chan’s father, who has come later believing his son would not want to see him. Sunwoo Chan confirms that he does not wish to meet him.
The confrontation brings back painful memories of the accident that left him scarred and with hearing loss in one ear. During the argument that followed the accident, Sunwoo Chan has accused his father of dismissing his suffering and left the country.
Now, after seeing him after long time as his father grabs his arm to stop him, the two crash into a glass display counter. The glass shatters, and a shard cuts Ha-ran on the face. Filled with guilt, Sunwoo Chan tells his father to leave and rushes out of the exhibition hall.
Later, Ha-ran finds a broken watch that belongs to his father and notices doodles on the back similar to those she had seen in Sunwoo Chan’s grandmother’s house. She goes to Sunwoo Chan’s home to return it.
There, Sunwoo Chan says they should distance themselves because he believes he will only hurt her. Ha-ran refuses and explains that meeting him has slowly changed her painful memories and helped her live again.

She says she has only received comfort from him and now wants to give something back by being kind to him. Sunwoo Chan warns that if she does that, he might start liking her even more, and that such feelings might make him greedy. Ha-ran replies that she is fine with both.
She hugs him to reassure him. Seeing the cut on her face makes Sunwoo Chan emotional, and tears up. In that moment, the two acknowledge their feelings and share their first kiss, bringing episode 7 of In Your Radiant Season to a close.
