The Master Trainer’s Touch is a reward for completing the Race in Hernand quest, which sits within the House Serkis questline, specifically the Hooves Through the Wind quest chain. It does not unlock independently. The best approach is to work through all available faction quests in Hernand as they appear, since the questlines are interconnected.

Completing them in order will eventually lead to House Serkis offering the Race in Hernand mission.

Once the quest is active, look for a noble on horseback near the wooden bridge next to Bloomwood Ranch. He is waiting there for the race to begin. Call out the horse, mount up, and approach him to trigger the start. The race counts down from three and gets underway immediately.

The destination is the House of Healing. The route is marked clearly on the minimap with sequential waypoints, so navigation is not the challenge. What matters is maintaining momentum and managing stamina throughout the race.

Letting the horse’s stamina drain completely mid-race will cost time that is difficult to recover. Keep an eye on it and pace accordingly rather than going flat out from the start.

Finishing the race rewards the Master Trainer’s Touch gloves in Crimson Desert.

What buff does Master Trainer’s Touch in Crimson Desert offer?

The gloves accelerate how quickly a horse levels up while they are worn. For players actively training horses or spending time riding, the XP gain buff means reaching higher horse levels noticeably faster than without them. There is also an observed effect during horse taming.

When attempting to tame wild or legendary horses makes the process significantly smoother and more consistent. Whether this is a direct mechanical effect or a coincidence is not confirmed, but the pattern has been noted across multiple legendary horse tames in short succession, including three legendary horses.
