Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 40-year-old man found injured at an apartment on Selkirk Avenue earlier this month.
Emmanuel Max Spence, 25, and Thomas Jeremy (TJ) Spence, 39, were charged with manslaughter in connection with death of Kingsley Bruce, Winnipeg police said in a Friday news release.
Bruce was found injured at an apartment on Selkirk on March 3 after reports of a shooting. He was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries. Bruce was a member of Poplar River First Nation who was living in Winnipeg.
Officers arrested Emmanuel on Monday on Selkirk, and Thomas was arrested on Wednesday in the area of McKenzie Street and Bannerman Avenue, according to the release. Both remain in custody.
Investigators believe both men knew Bruce.
