HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ to follow Super Bowl champion Seahawks during training camp

The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks should be accustomed to the spotlight. The NFL announced Tuesday that the squad would be featured in the training camp edition of the popular “Hard Knocks” series on HBO.

The upcoming season of the reality show will debut on Aug. 11 with a finale scheduled for Sept. 8.

The 2026 edition of “Hard Knocks” marks the first time since the series’ debut — when it followed the 2001 Baltimore Ravens — that NFL Films cameras will follow the defending champions for training camp.

League officials also announced on Tuesday that the 2027 edition of “Hard Knocks” would follow the New England Patriots, the reigning NFL runners-up.

The Seahawks feature a stacked roster that includes wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year; quarterback Sam Darnold and a defense that ranked among the best in the league last season.
