Genshin Impact Luna VI livestream expected announcements


Genshin Impact has announced the Special Program for version Luna VI, which will be livestreamed on March 27, 2026. During the livestream, the officials will reveal all the new content from the upcoming update, such as the new character, weapon, events, quests, and banners. Furthermore, they will share three new redemption codes that Travelers can redeem to get in-game rewards.

Expected announcements in Genshin Impact Luna VI livestream

New character and signature weapon

Linnea is a new Geo character in Genshin Impact, and is expected to be a 5-star unit. The livestream will showcase her abilities, which will give Travelers an idea of her best teams and playstyle. Players can also look forward to a new 5-star weapon announcement, which will also be Linnea’s signature weapon.

Banners

The livestream will reveal the banners in the upcoming update. Based on the leaks via Seele Leaks, a fairly reliable source for leaks, the following characters are likely to be featured on the Event Wishes:

  • New character: Linnea
  • Rerun characters: Lauma, Nefer, and Chasca

The banner order is currently unknown, but it will be announced in the Special Program.

New area

According to the beta leaks from multiple sources, version Luna VI will release new areas. This will include the long-awaited Dornman Port expansion in Mondstadt and a few domain-like locations that are supposedly called Asmoday’s Space.

New enemies

Two new enemies are expected to be added in version Luna VI. One of them is an Elite enemy, while the other is a world boss that will drop character ascension materials. The livestream will likely showcase the boss, along with some of its gameplay mechanisms.

New quests

The livestream might also reveal some of the upcoming quests, including Linnea’s Story Quest. Based on the previous updates, the new Story Quest will also likely give away limited-time rewards that will include Primogems and Linnea’s ascension materials.

Events

Travelers can look forward to all the event announcements for the new update. This will include one flagship event and two smaller ones.

Lastly, three new codes will be shared during the livestream. Travelers can redeem these codes to obtain in-game rewards of up to 300 Primogems.
