Clash of Clans February 2026 update patch notes: Town Hall 18 upgrades, ranked mode changes, and more


The Clash of Clans February 2026 update is officially live, introducing a new Hero and Pet, along with many more changes and upgrades. What are the new items and changes in the Clash of Clans February 2026 update?

New Hero: Dragon Duke

Dragon Duke, a menacing frontline Hero with unique mechanics and an understandable grudge against locked doors, is coming in the Clash of Clans February 2026 update.

From February 24th to March 1st, players will participate in a special community event, navigating a dungeon maze, to find the right path and free the Dragon.


Town Hall 18 upgrades

New Pet – Greedy Raven

Greedy Raven, a flying, feathered Goblin, has been introduced in the Clash of Clans February 2026 update.

  • Flying attacker for long-range battle
  • Attacks resource buildings near its equipped Hero and deals 5x damage to them
  • Unlocks at TH18

Ranked Mode Changes

Multiple improvements in Ranked battles have been implemented in the Clash of Clans February 2026 update:

  • Anti-spam protection: Ranked battles have the same rules as regular attacks; you must complete a battle before starting another.
  • Incorrect demotion warnings for some players have been fixed.

Other Changes Bandug Fixes

The Clash of Clans February 2026 update also includes various balance changes, improvements, and bug fixes. Here are the highlights:

  • The Unbreakable achievement now requires only 500 defenses
  • CWL now supports 5v5 wars. Bonuses are based on the war size. For tied wars, 75% of the rewards are up for grabs.
  • Poison Spells affect Guardians and deal full damage, but apply only 70% of the normal Attack and Movement Speed reductions.
  • Mighty Morsel and Hero Potion apply only to attacks.
  • The “Add Effect” option will only show to those having the Fancy Shop yet
  • The combat logic for underground units has been reworked, resulting in Diggy and Miners acting more consistently while fighting a horde of Skeletons
  • Rebalanced Cannon, Archer Tower, and Mortar.
  • Fixed the geared-up Mortar’s attack speed, restricting zero delay firing.
  • Fixed Longshot attack’s splash damage to hit either ground or air, based on the target’s placement.
  • The Earthquake Spell damages ground troops alongside buildings and walls. It affects Earthquake Boots, too.
  • Players can toggle the visibility of the special effects on decos and shoveled obstacles.
  • Several decos have increased inventory caps, allowing players to store previously obtained decos.
  • The profile icons of Heroes, troops, spells, sieges, guardians, and pets can be clicked for locked items.
  • The Blacksmith now displays currently available equipment, but not yet owned or unlocked, helping players see what they can obtain.
  • The Hero Selector will now show locked heroes, locked common equipment and locked pets
  • For low-level troops, the Super Sauna now displays what upgrade level is required to use a given super troop.
  • Thrower Level 4 buff reverted (New values: 240 DPS and 2800 HP).
  • Totem Spell changes – Radius: From six to five, Damage: From 70-100 to 0, Life Gem Aura and Apprentice no longer affect Totems.
  • Ore Bug has been fixed. Excess earned Ore via the exploit will be revoked.

In addition, a new deco will feature in the Fancy Shop along with the Crafted Defenses season from April 1, 2026.
