Blue Jays’ George Springer fractures big toe vs. Twins

The Injury bug just won’t leave the Toronto Blue Jays alone.

Designated hitter George Springer was removed from Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Twins with a left big toe fracture, the team announced.

Springer appeared to suffer the injury when he fouled a ball off his foot in the third inning.
