The Antigravity A1 8K 360 Drone introduces a new way to create and experience aerial content. It combines immersive 360° video capture with a VR-like piloting experience, all in one system designed for both beginners and pros.
Fly Once, Edit Forever
At the heart of the A1 is its dual-lens 360° camera system, powered by Insta360’s image stitching algorithms. It captures full 8K video from every angle, removing the drone from the shot entirely. That means you can fly once, then frame and reframe your footage in post as many times as you want. Whether you’re posting to YouTube or cutting vertical clips for Instagram reels, every angle is at your fingertips.
You can create sweeping edits from multiple perspectives using a single flight. It allows you to both save battery life and maximize creativity. From wide cinematic shots to dynamic angles looking up from below or back toward your subject, the A1 gives creators an unmatched editing playground.
Sky Genie and Smart Auto Editing
Built-in Sky Genie flight modes take the guesswork out of getting cinematic shots. Pre-programmed options like Spiral Ascent and Oval Orbit help capture dynamic footage with no piloting experience needed. And if you don’t want to fuss with editing, the Antigravity app’s One-Tap Cinematics feature automatically builds a slick, music-synced highlight reel for instant social sharing.
Vision Goggles and Motion Control
The included Vision FPV goggles take immersion to the next level with head tracking, letting you look around mid-flight like you’re in the cockpit. Vision also supports virtual cockpit overlays, including fantasy options like dragon riding. I guess this will make it a fun ride for you or your spectators.
For control, the Antigravity Grip offers an intuitive, one-handed experience that’s more like waving a wand than flying a drone. Just point where you want to go. In FreeMotion Mode, even kids can fly it. Although, I’m still not sure I’ll let a kid fly my $2000 drone, but that’s just me.
Smart Features for Safety and Simplicity
Despite all the flair, the A1 is packed with smart features to make flights smoother and safer. It includes obstacle avoidance sensors, automatic landing gear, payload detection, return-to-home, and Navigation Assist with a picture-in-picture view to track where you’re actually flying.
Set a route using Sky Path and pass off the goggles so friends and family can enjoy a virtual ride without touching the controls.
