Former WWE star confronts man who assaulted her at WrestleCon
A former WWE star shared that a man assaulted her at WrestleCon, and she confronted him. The star in question was let go by WWE in May 2025 after spending four years with the promotion.
Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade in the company, took to social media today to share that a man assaulted her at WrestleCon. She followed the man and recorded him while calling him out for his actions. You can check out the video in the post below.
Thanks for the submission!
“Just got sexually assaulted by a fan at WrestleCon! If anyone sees this guy ban him from anything ever,” she wrote.
Elayna Black was in a popular tag team with Roxanne Perez during her time in NXT, and the duo won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships together. Perez is currently a member of The Judgment Day on RAW and is not scheduled to compete at WrestleMania 42 this year. Black never captured a singles title in the promotion and now performs in TNA Wrestling.
Elayna Black opens up about returning to WWE someday
Elayna Black recently opened up about being released by the promotion last year and whether she would be willing to return someday.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, Black noted that she was still young and felt like the door was open for her to return to WWE down the line. The former champion added that she loved her time in the company and met a lot of great people.
“Definitely, I feel like the door [is open]. I’m 24 years old. I feel like I didn’t end on horrible terms there. Like I said, yes, there’s things that p****d me off, but I’m human and I love wrestling, so that’s only natural, but I’m not gonna sit here and be like, ‘Oh my God, my time there was so horrible. I never wanna go back.’ Absolutely not. I loved my time there. I loved the people I met there. I feel like anything is possible,” she said.
It will be fascinating to see what the future holds for Elayna Black in the world of professional wrestling and if she will get the chance to return to WWE in the future.
