United 21-man travelling squad vs Chelsea as potential injury blow revealed
Man Utd are travelling down to London today ahead of their game with Chelsea in the Premier League.
Kobbie Mainoo has been included in Manchester United’s squad to face Chelsea on Saturday, but there are doubts over Leny Yoro’s involvement after the defender was not spotted travelling to London.
Mainoo was absent against Leeds due to a small training injury, which forced him to miss his first game since Michael Carrick’s appointment. Speaking during a press conference at Carrington on Friday, Carrick said Mainoo was “working towards” full fitness and a decision would be made.
United are travelling to London on Friday afternoon and Mainoo is making the trip, but Yoro was not spotted at Stockport Station, and his potential absence would be a huge blow for Carrick, who is already without Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez due to suspensions.

Patrick Dorgu (hamstring injury) and Matthijs de Ligt (back injury) are not available for the game.
Carrick has included youngsters Shea Lacey and Tyler Fletcher in the squad to face Chelsea. The pair were both named on the bench against Leeds and have been given the chance to travel to London.
United will attempt to bounce back against Chelsea after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Leeds at the beginning of the week. Leeds had a two-goal cushion at the interval, and United’s chances of mounting a comeback were dashed when Martinez was shown a red card in the 59th minute.
Martinez pulled on Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hair and was shown a red card for violent conduct. The defender is now facing a three-match ban, meaning he’ll be unavailable against Chelsea, Liverpool and Brentford.
Maguire is also suspended for the trip to Stamford Bridge after receiving an additional one-game ban after the FA’s charge for allegedly acting in an improper manner towards a fourth official was upheld.
Chelsea were hammered 3-0 by Manchester City at home last weekend. Liam Rosenior was appointed in January, but he is already under pressure after a string of disappointing Chelsea performances.
