WWE set to end longtime feud on SmackDown – Reports

WWE is reportedly set to end a long-running feud on SmackDown. This feud has been going on since months.

The Wyatt Sicks and the MFTs have been feuding with each other since October 2025. When the feud first started, fans were excited about it since these two factions were dominant at the time. During the feud, Solo Sikoa’s faction has gotten the better of the Wyatt Sicks many times. They even captured the WWE Tag Team Titles from the group and stole Bray Wyatt’s lantern from them. It looked like the feud ended when Tama Tonga returned Wyatt’s lantern to Uncle Howdy. Despite this, these two factions are set to collide in an eight-man tag team Street Fight on SmackDown this week.

According to reports from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, sources have confirmed that the upcoming eight-man tag team match on SmackDown will be the final encounter between both groups and serve as the conclusion to the feud.

WWE has a big show planned for SmackDown this week

This week’s episode of SmackDown is the go-home show for WrestleMania 42 and will take place a day before the Showcase of Immortals. Hence, WWE has a massive night planned.

Apart from the eight-man tag team match, SmackDown will also feature the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. This match used to take place at WrestleMania. However, for the past few years, it has been moved to the SmackDown before WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton have been involved in a vicious feud for the past few weeks, ever since the latter turned heel and brutally attacked the former. This feud has become more personal with the involvement of Pat McAfee, who has questioned Cody’s credibility as champion. Therefore, this week on SmackDown, Cody has a special message for his WrestleMania opponent one night before their match.

Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre have been involved in a heated feud for the past few months. Therefore, at WrestleMania, they are set to collide in an Unsanctioned Match. Last week on SmackDown, Fatu was brutally assaulted by McIntyre. Hence, this week, it will be interesting to see how the Samoan Werewolf responds to this attack.

It looks like SmackDown is shaping up to be a big show this week.
