“They got many things go their way over the years” – Harry Kane makes cheeky claim when addressing red card incident in Bayern v Real Madrid UCL clash

Bayern Munich star Harry Kane has taken a cheeky dig at Real Madrid after the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals win. The Englishman said that he understands why Los Blancos are angry, but they should remember their history.

Speaking to WELT, Kane claimed that several decisions have gone in favor of Los Blancos in the past, and they should remember them before getting angry at the red card to Eduardo Camavinga. He said:

“I’m sure Real Madrid are angry about the red card, but they got many things go their way over the years, so…”

He went on to talk to the media about the game, admitting that it was a crazy match and he was delighted to make the semifinal, and said:

“What a special night. I mean, a crazy game, to be honest, and obviously, being a quarter-final, being a big game like it was, to have the ebbs and flows and the highs and lows throughout the first half, especially, was pretty unique.”

Talking about PSG, he added:

“One of the best in Europe for sure, reigning European champions for a reason. We obviously had a tough game against them earlier in the Champions League stages. So, yeah, we’ll expect an open game, a lot of man-for-man pressure, a lot of individual quality. Hopefully, we can come out on top.” (via ESPN)

Harry Kane scored in the first leg, but did not get on the scoresheet for the 4-3 win in the second lead, which sealed their 6-4 aggregate win.

Real Madrid urged to sell star player after UEFA Champions League exit

Former Real Madrid star Santiago Canizares has urged the club to cash in on Vinicius Jr. He believes that the Brazilian winger has not been at his best in recent seasons and should be sold to the highest bidder in the summer window and said:

“In my view, for the past two years, he hasn’t been delivering the performance for Real Madrid that his contract and his status as a player demand. Furthermore, he has been involved in many controversial situations that do not reflect well on Real Madrid’s image, but to sell a player, the money has to be there first.” (via SPORT)

Vinicius Jr has not signed a new deal at Los Blancos yet and is still in talks with the club. He has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal linked with the winger.
