With the Kolkata Knight Riders coming into this fixture in awful form and plenty of question marks over their batting order and team combination, our first instinct is to avoid picking any player from their team altogether.

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan have terrific records at this venue, and against a KKR bowling lineup that has lacked bite, especially with the new ball, they could rack up the runs and the Fantasy points in this fixture.

The in-form Prasidh Krishna could trouble the KKR batters on an Ahmedabad deck that certainly offers a little extra in the way of bounce and carry to the fast bowlers. Their middle order is one of the weakest in the league, and Prasidh could be an excellent option against them, especially if GT bats first.

Tim Seifert is a player we would be willing to punt on if he makes it to the KKR playing XI, but aside from that, we would be fairly comfortable with this selection, despite doubling up on the openers.
