CM Punk drools over AJ Lee ahead of WrestleMania 42: “Sweet Lord”

CM Punk will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42 on Sunday in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium.

This year’s Mania is special for the Best in the World for many reasons, one of which is that both Punk and his wife, AJ Lee, will compete at the Showcase of the Immortals in championship bouts. The Black Widow will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against long-term rival Becky Lynch at WrestleMania on Saturday.

Lee and Punk have been married for nearly 12 years now. The power couple expresses love for one another whenever they get the chance. On Wednesday, The Best in the World and The Black Widow appeared on Complex‘s YouTube channel for its “GOAT Talk” show.

The Second City Saint took a screenshot from the interview and posted it on his Instagram story, praising his wife’s beauty and labeling her a “goddess.”

“Sweet lord look at a goddess,” he wrote.

CM Punk says he would like to face the former WWE Women’s Champion

Recently, in an interview on the “All the Smoke” podcast, the Best in the World was asked about a superstar whom he would like to get in the ring with. The Second City Saint said he wants to face former Women’s Champion and his real-life good friend, Bayley.

“Bayley. I gotta mention Bayley,” Punk said. “Maybe I do want to get in the ring with her. Maybe I want to beat her a**, I don’t know. She is such a great wrestler. She is so f*cking good. It’s hard not to mention her. We don’t do intergender stuff, barely ever. I did get to put Becky in a sharpshooter, and that was fun.”

That being said, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his creative team have in store for CM Punk at WM 42. He would be aiming to defend his World Heavyweight Championship and walk out as the champion. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns will want to capture the title and take his fans to his golden championship era.
