Huge Update: John Cena Breaks Silence After Massive WWE Announcement

John Cena retired from professional wrestling last year at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th in Washington DC. He lost to the Ring General Gunther in his final wrestling match where he tapped out to the sleeper hold. The Last Real Champion broke his silence and shared his response after a massive announcement made by WWE and provided an update on his future role in the company.

John Cena entered his final year of in-ring competition last year. He turned heel at the Elimination Chamber alongside the Rock and Travis Scott. For the remainder of his retirement tour, he has some great matches with his old rivals and also faced some young talent too. The retirement tour ended when Cena lost to Gunther in his final match.

WWE recently announced their new exclusive fan membership programme known as WWE Club. The Stamford-based promotion has launched the waitlist for the program as of now and has already advertised it with some major perks. The perks include an exclusive members only blog, points and reward system for members, pre-sale for the merchandise and many other things.

John Cena took to X to address the new announcement WWE made regarding the Fan membership programme. He promised the fans that he will actively try his best to make the experience worth for the fans. He also confirmed that he’s working with WWE on some new ideas now that he’s no longer an active performer.

“I will actively be trying my best to make WWE club an experience like no other. Currently working with WWE on some “never seen” ideas to truly make WWE Club members THE ultimate insiders!” wrote Cena.

Fans are excited to see what kind of ideas John Cena is actually referring to in this tweet.

John Cena will host WWE WrestleMania 42

The Cenation Leader is set to make his first appearance on WWE programming since his retirement bout. He will be playing the role of a host in this year’s WrestleMania. The appearance was announced just a few weeks ago by Cena himself on his X handle.

“Since retirement, my “road” has looked a little different… but now I can officially say I’m headed to WrestleMania!!!! See you in Las Vegas!” he wrote.
