Morgan Rogers ‘open’ to Man Utd transfer on one condition as price for deal set
Manchester United are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window
Manchester United could be set for a busy summer transfer window, with several players potentially moving on. Midfield, left‑wing and possibly attack are areas expected to be strengthened after a quiet January.
The midfield is likely to undergo significant changes, with Casemiro set to leave after four seasons at the club. Bruno Fernandes will also assess his future after the World Cup, though he said in October: “I feel good here. I want to achieve my dreams still.”
“My agent knows how I work, so if he wants to talk to me, it will be after the World Cup because until then, I won’t speak to anyone,” Fernandes added.
Rasmus Hojlund is expected to complete a permanent £38million move to Napoli should they qualify for next season’s Champions League. Antonio Conte’s side sit second in Serie A, nine points behind leaders Inter Milan.
Joshua Zirkzee’s future is also uncertain, having played a reduced role this season and down Michael Carrick’s pecking order.

Morgan Rogers ‘contact’
Sky Sports Switzerland reports that United have made contact with Aston Villa to explore a deal for Rogers, who is open to a move to Old Trafford provided they qualify for the Champions League next season.
European qualification is understood to be a key factor in Rogers’ decision‑making, with the 23‑year‑old keen to take the next step in his career. Chelsea are also said to be monitoring the situation closely. Villa, meanwhile, are believed to value Rogers at between £80-£90million.
MEN Sport says: Rogers would represent a strong addition for United, with the 24‑year‑old looking ready to take the next major step in his career. He has already shown he can handle the demands of the Premier League while his versatility and ability to influence games in the final third make him a profile United have lacked at times. Rogers’ exposure to European competition adds a level of maturity that would benefit a squad aiming to re-establish itself on the biggest stage.
Marcus Rashford ‘replacement’
According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, United have identified Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams as a potential replacement for Rashford, who is expected to leave the club permanently this summer.
While Bilbao are unlikely to sanction his departure, it is claimed that Williams feels ready to take the next step in his career after previously turning down interest from Aston Villa and other Premier League sides.
United are claimed to be preparing a move for the winger this summer.
MEN Sport says: While his talent is widely recognised, a move to England would present a very different challenge. The physicality, tempo and tactical demands of the Premier League often require an adjustment period and it could take months to settle.
If Williams needs time to adapt to a new country, language and style of play, United may have to wait before seeing his full impact – a potential concern for a club aiming to hit the ground running next season.
