According to Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), the crash happened on Niagara Stone Road around 9:30 a.m.
NRPS said police officers and emergency services personnel responded to the scene of the collision.
“Tragically, one male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said in a news release Monday afternoon.
“The driver of a second vehicle was transported by Niagara Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital with minor injuries.”
There were no other occupants in either vehicle, police said.
