BREAKING: Forgotten female star shockingly returns right before AEW Dynasty 2026

A major female star has just made their shocking return right before this year’s edition of AEW Dynasty in Vancouver, Canada. Following this, they are set to compete in the promotion for the first time in 1.5 years.

Willow Nightingale has been on a great run as of late after pouring all her effort into defending the TBS Championship. She has been holding several open challenges and has found herself taking on some forgotten AEW names. A few weeks ago, she took on Hikaru Shida, who was returning after more than a year. Queen Aminata came next, and she was on an almost six-month hiatus.

Willow isn’t booked for tonight’s show, but she was involved in an incident that occurred backstage. She was suddenly laid out by the returning Kamille during an interview with Renee Paquette. She only had one thing to say after laying out the TBS Champion.

“I’m back,” she said.

This will be the Brickhouse’s first match in AEW since October 2024, when she faced off with Kris Statlander during an episode of Dynamite. At the time, she was still the hired muscle of Mercedes Moné, but after this loss, their partnership took a turn for the worse and eventually came to an end a month later.

This began Kamille’s sudden disappearance from AEW. This was a puzzling situation as there were no reports of her being injured, nor on the way out of the company.

Fans will be able to catch her in action later tonight on Zero Hour, as she’ll be in an impromptu match during the show. After attacking Willow Nightingale, Tony Khan could book a TBS title match between them soon. The landscape of the women’s division has once more shifted as another dominant force has made its return to the company. It will be interesting to see how she does in her return match later.
