“At least he’s honest”; “Massive loser energy”: Fans divided over Wyndham Clark’s ‘birth-control’ comment at Masters
Fans on social media have reacted to Wyndham Clark’s birth control remark at the Masters. Ahead of the Masters, the American golfer had a good time with his girlfriend, Emily Tanner, in the Par 3 Contest.
It is a special event where professional golfers play alongside their family members and kids. Clark opened up about the event and said:

“Oh it’s so much fun. I will say… as a man without kids, it’s great birth control, but it’s a lot of fun.”

Fans jumped into the comments section to react to it. However, there were mixed reactions from people.

“Something a guy who has and needs a mental coach would say..,” another fan added.

“This doesn’t make sense given the vibes of the event,” another fan added.
Some more fans agreed with his comment.
“Not everyone wants kids bro.. So to have someone with the opposite viewpoint is good,” a fan said.

Wyndham Clark introduces his new girlfriend
Wyndham Clark had introduced the people to his new girlfriend, Emily Tanner, at the Masters Par 3 Contest. She shared a few pictures with him on his Instagram account on Thursday with a sweet caption.
“Par 3 with my good luck charm,” he wrote.
Wyndham Clark’s girlfriend is a model and influencer. She hails from Michigan and completed her graduation in Interdisciplinary Studies of Health & Society from Michigan State University in 2017. Tanner also owns a marketing agency called the Over Social Agency.
Meanwhile, on the field, Wyndham Clark is coming to play at the Masters after missing the cut in his two back-to-back outings. He had a tough start to his game on Thursday at the Masters and carded 72, but then bounced back with a round of 68 and made the cut. He played the third round of 72 to settle in a tie for 15th place ahead of the final round of the major.
After three rounds of the Masters, Rory McIlroy and Cameron Young are tied for the lead. The Northern Irish golfer kick-started the game with an opening round of 67, followed by the next two rounds of 65 and 73.
While Young carded the three rounds of 73, 67, and 65 to settle with a score of 11-under. Sam Burns settled in solo third place, and he is also in contention for the title. The 2026 Masters will have its finale on Sunday, April 12.
