As Kyle Fletcher relinquished his TNT title after sustaining an injury, a major match has been announced for the vacant title at AEW Dynasty 2026. Two competitors for the match have also been announced.

While Kyle Fletcher was going strong as the TNT Champion, he suffered an injury during his last match. During his tag team match on Collision last month, where he teamed with Mark Davis to take on The Rascalz, Fletcher sustained a horrific injury during one of the spots. He is expected to be out of action for some time as well.

Tony Khan recently revealed that Kyle Fletcher is vacating his TNT title due to injury. Meanwhile, a Casino Gauntlet match has officially been announced for Dynasty 2026 this Sunday to determine the new TNT Champion.

Through their official X handle, AEW announced the TNT title Casino Gauntlet match while also revealing Tommaso Ciampa and Rush as the first and second entrants in the match, respectively, at Dynasty:

“Casino Gauntlet for the Vacant TNT Title With @KyleFletcherPro injured, the TNT Title is now vacant. @MrTommasoCiampa has the #1 Spot and @RUSHToroBlanco has #2! See who leaves Vancouver with the TNT Title, LIVE on PPV, TOMORROW NIGHT!”

This past Wednesday on Dynamite, Tommaso Ciampa defeated Mascara Dorada to earn the No.1 spot for the TNT title Casino Gauntlet at Dynasty. On the other hand, Rush defeated Anthony Bowens on this week’s Collision to capture the No.2 spot.

Kyle Fletcher’s message after vacating his AEW TNT title

After Tony Khan announced that Kyle Fletcher would vacate his AEW TNT Championship due to injury, The Protostar sent out a message to the fans. Taking to the X social media platform, Fletcher declared himself the greatest TNT Champion of all time after relinquishing the title:

“Greatest TNT Champion of All Time. Don’t forget it,” Fletcher wrote.

Fletcher was in his second reign as the TNT Champion before getting injured. Fans will have to wait and see when The Protostar will be back in action.
