Second arrest in deadly 2025 shooting of man in Entertainment District

A second man is now charged in the death of an 18-year-old man killed during a shootout in the city’s Entertainment District last year.

Toronto Police say the gunfire erupted near King St. W. and Spadina Ave. around 4:45 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2025.

A 27-year-old man, who was wounded in the shootout, was arrested the day after the deadly shooting.

Frandy Noel, of Toronto, was charged with second-degree murder.

“It is alleged that the accused was approached by a group of males,” police said at the time.

“The males discharged firearms, and the accused was struck by gunfire,” police claimed. “The accused then discharged a firearm, striking one of the males in the group (the murder victim).”

Police alleged Noel was transported to hospital where his injuries were determined to be “non-life-threatening.”

Meanwhile, the victim was “dropped off at a hospital a short time later” where he was pronounced dead.

Dylan Adams was later identified as the city’s 37th murder victim of 2025.

Police revealed on Saturday that investigators have now made a second arrest in the teen’s death.

Zavion Boswell, 22, of Toronto, was arrested on Friday.

He’s charged with manslaughter, robbery with a firearm, robbery, three counts of possession of a restricted/prohibited firearm, and being the occupant of a motor vehicle in which there was a restricted/prohibited firearm.

Boswell was scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing on Saturday.
