Popular AEW star Andrade recently fired shots at a colleague. He is scheduled to face the wrestler this weekend at Dynasty 2026.

El Idolo’s rivalry with Darby Allin started with a favor. AEW World Champion MJF put a bounty on Allin. Don Callis then asked Andrade to collect a briefcase on his behalf, which was the bounty Friedman had placed on Darby. This led to the two stars starting a rivalry with each other and the company setting up a match between the two at Dynasty. In the lead-up to the encounter, Darby cut a passionate promo, claiming that he would defeat the ex-WWE star and then turn his attention to the World Championship.

Andrade took to social media to share his thoughts about the former three-time champion. El Idolo claimed that Darby was just delusional and would possibly never change. The star made it clear that he had his eyes on the AEW World Championship and did not want anything to do with Allen. He clarified that this match would just be a favor to Don Callis. The former WWE star made it clear that Allen was a decent wrestler, but he was no match for him, and he would make quick work of the star during their encounter this Sunday.

“You are Crazy kid!! @DarbyAllin You won’t change, kid! My eyes are still on the AEW championship. I’m not interested in you. @TheDonCallis asked me for a favor! See you Sunday. You’re a good wrestler, but you’re not better than me!” Andrade wrote.

Andrade assaulted Darby Allin on AEW Dynamite

Tensions escalated between Darby Allin and Andrade El Idolo during the Trios match on Dynamite this week. Early in the bout, Andrade avoided a direct confrontation by tagging out and walking up the ramp, frustrating Allin. Later, Darby chased the star up the ramp, but Konosuke Takeshita intercepted him with a brutal German Suplex down the ramp.

After El Idolo pinned Jack Perry for the win, Allin rushed the ring and got in the star’s face. The two started throwing hands before Andrade pointed at the Dynasty sign and delivered a low blow to Allin.
