Gigi Hadid has opened up about her name being mentioned in the Epstein Files. She denied any involvement with the late pedophile, adding that it makes her “sick to her stomach”.

The US Department of Justice released millions of documents from the Epstein Files between December and February this year. It contained some big names like Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Jay-Z, among others. Gigi Hadid, whose real name is Jelena Noura Hadid, and her sister Bella, were also named in them.

Notably, just the mention of one’s name doesn’t denote any wrongdoing. In the documents, an unnamed individual mailed Jeffrey Epstein:

“How did the Hadid sisters became [sic] models and make so much money?! I don’t understand.”

He responded:

“You know … the father paid the agency”

The unnamed individual added:

“No … there are too many girls giving b***jobs…”

The late pedophile replied:

“Agreed.”

Gigi has now opened up about these claims, as blogger Perez Hilton shared on his website, writing:

“Now, Gigi is ready to set the record straight after being directly confronted.”

The model’s response came in the form of a comment as she replied to a user’s comment on her Instagram post. The user stated that they had to unfollow her due to the lack of response. Gigi replied:

“Made me sick to my stomach. Horrible to read someone you’ve never met speak about you that way. Especially in this context. Never in my life met the monster — to me it was so obvious, in that email chain, he tried to take responsibility of other peoples careers in order to manipulate his victims (in this case, whoever was emailing him questions about my career) .. who never saw the work ethic he claimed he’d get them.”

Gigi Hadid also denied allegations made in the Epstein Files that her father set her modelling career up. She stated that she applied to multiple places and used to go to meetings with agencies with her mother.

Gigi Hadid also explained why it took her months to open up about her name being mentioned in the Epstein Files. She wrote that she didn’t want to take the story away from the real victims, explaining:

“I didn’t comment bc I don’t want to take away from the stories of his real victims; but your comment made me realize maybe it’s not clear — and it’s important to let you know — I grew up privileged, yes. But my parents protected me and taught me about the value of hard work, the same hard work that got them into this country and gave them careers.”

Gigi Hadid further asserted that she had no “affiliation with that disgusting human being.”

Jeffrey Epstein was a financier who was convicted of multiple crimes against women and minors. He allegedly also ran a racket on his infamous island for his activities, with many big names involved in it. He died in prison in 2019.
