Ray Allen stole the spotlight for the wrong reasons as the UConn Huskies marched into the national championship game after defeating Illinois on Saturday.
The two-time NBA champion showed his support for his alma mater in a tight-fitting gray UC Huskies T-shirt. Golf Digest’s Christopher Powers posted a photo of Allen’s look on X.
“Can we get ray allen a bigger shirt?” Powers tweeted.
Fans dropped their reactions in the comments section.
“That’s not ray allen it’s Jesus shuttlesworth,” a fan said.
“LMAO. They gave him a womans shirt,” one fan commented.
“He’s wearing a smedium….” another fan said.

The Huskies are one win away from securing its their third national championship in four years. UConn will face Michigan in the title game.
The Wolverines beat Arizona in the other semifinal. If Huskies coach Dan Hurley cuts the net on Tuesday, he will become the first coach since the 1970s to win three championships in a four-year span.

Ray Allen’s UConn career
Ray Allen’s collegiate career at UConn spanned three seasons from 1993 to 1996. He appeared in 101 games and scored 1,922 points.
Allen averaged 12.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game on 51.0% shooting as a freshman. He helped the Huskies reach the Sweet 16, earning a spot on the Big East All-Rookie Team.
Allen transitioned into a primary scoring role during his sophomore campaign. His average increased to 21.1 ppg. The guard shot 44.5% from beyond the arc and led Huskies to an Elite Eight appearance. His performance earned him first-team All-Big East honors and a third-team All-American selection.
Allen averaged 23.4 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 3.3 apg on 46.6% shooting from the 3-point line in his final season. He was named the Big East Player of the Year and a consensus first-team All-American selection.
He left UConn as the school’s single-season scoring record holder (818 points) and was selected at No. 5 in the 1996 NBA draft.
