Amanda Anisimova recently shared a snap of her latest bikini look with fans. As the American continues to focus on recovering from her injury, she enjoyed a relaxing outing by the pool.
Anisimova was last seen in action at the Miami Open. The 24-year-old had a strong start to her campaign at the Hard Rock Stadium, disposing of Ajla Tomljanovic and Yuliia Starodubtseva in her opening rounds before suffering an unexpected loss to Belinda Bencic in her round of 16 encounter. Now, the American is taking some time away from tennis due to a wrist injury she picked up in Miami and she is making the most of her time off.

While Amanda Anisimova hasn’t revealed any details about her injury, the World No.6 pulled out of the Charleston Open citing her need for rest. In a statement shared with media, she said,
“I’m really sorry to have to miss this year’s Charleston Open. I picked up an injury at the Miami Open and after taking medical advice, I’ve made the difficult decision to withdraw and focus on my recovery. “I’ve always loved playing in front of the fans in Charleston, the support there means so much to me. I hope to be back and see you all next year.”
Anisimova would have entered the Charleston Open as the No.2 seed behind compatriot Jessica Pegula. The two-time Grand Slam finalist’s previous best results at the WTA 500 event include semifinal appearances achieved in 2022 and 2025.
Amanda Anisimova to return to action at Madrid Open

After skipping the Charleston Open due to injury, Amanda Anisimova is set to begin her clay season at the Madrid Open. The WTA 1000 event is scheduled to take place between April 21 and May 3 at Caja Magica and the tournament promises to deliver some exciting tennis action. Aside from Anisimova, the entirety of the WTA Top 10 will be competing in Madrid, including the likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek.
Overall, Amanda Anisimova has been dealing with a tumultuous 2026 season. The American kicked off her year with a round of 16 exit at the Brisbane International, before falling short against Jessica Pegula in the Australian Open quarterfinals. The 24-year-old then made an opening round exit at the Qatar Open before reaching the semifinals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. She has since made round of 16 appearances at both Indian Wells and the Miami Open.
