Best legendary mounts in Crimson Desert and their locations
Legendary mounts in Crimson Desert are an upgrade over your regular companions. Apart from being fun to ride, mounts let you visit new locations much faster than on foot. And when it comes to legendaries, they offer better mobility and combat capabilities than regular ones. The problem is that there are lots of legendary mounts to choose from.
However, be it traversing as quickly across the map or if you simply want a fighting companion, there’s one for every situation. This guide lists five legendary mounts that everyone must have in Crimson Desert.
Best Legendary mounts in Crimson Desert and where to find them
White Bear

Despite being recently added, the White Bear is one of the best legendary mounts in Crimson Desert if you want an intimidating and strong companion. During combat, it will assist you in fighting enemies and can maul them without any issues. However, you will sacrifice mobility for tankiness.
You can find one roaming near the White Waste Sanctuary, which is close to the Five Finger Mountain in the upper left corner of the map. There’s also a fast travel point nearby. Fighting the bear isn’t going to be easy, so bring plenty of healing items and avoid getting grabbed.
Silver Fang

Another one of the newly added mounts in Crimson Desert, Silver Fang, is a giant white wolf who’ll also accompany you during battle. Unlike the bear, it’s a lot more nimble and a good choice if you don’t mind sacrificing a little tankiness for speed and damage.
To find Silver Fang, you need to head to the Howling Hollow cave and fight the entire pack of wolves. However, before that, you need to complete the Legendary Wolf quest in Hernand to allow Silver Fang to spawn in that location.
Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex

The Alpine Ibex, as the name suggests, is a large mountain goat and the best mount for rocky terrain in Crimson Desert. It has a decent speed and can attack enemies with a back-kick, and can also perform a charge attack, although we wouldn’t suggest making it your combat companion.
To get the Alpine Ibex, you need to defeat Moren, the Mistwood Huntmaster near the Wayward Woods. Note that the boss only appears in Chapter 8 after you complete the Pailune Militia and Skoghorn Tribe faction quests to unlock Longleaf Tribe, so it’ll take you a bit of in-game grind to get your hands on this mount.
Royler White Horse

Royler White Horse is the earliest legendary mount you can get in Crimson Desert, which will become your beast means of travel across Pywel. It features the highest stamina and movement speed among all other legendary horses in the game.
To tame it, head to the marked lake on the map to find Royler among other horses near the lake. The area is covered in snow, which may not seem an issue, but if you have low stamina, the taming process can take a few tries, not to mention Royler will try to run away.
Rock Tusk Warthog

If the White Bear isn’t up to your liking, then the Rock Tusk Warthog is a great alternative. You can perform a powerful charge attack while riding, which is extremely fun. However, getting the wild boar isn’t exactly easy.
You can find the Rock Tusk Warthog in Crimson Desert at a camp near the Red River (middle-right corner) of the map. It’s originally the mount for Ravok of the Savage Fangs, who’ll be in the area along with his henchman. Defeat the boss to make his mount your own.
