Chelsea Green reveals her status for WrestleMania 42
Chelsea Green provided an update on her status for WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas later this month. The Hot Mess has not competed in a match since the February 6 edition of SmackDown.
In an interview with Esteban Ramirez today, Green provided an update on her status for The Show of Shows. The former champion suffered an ankle injury during her Elimination Chamber qualifying match last month on the blue brand and has not been able to return to the ring since. Chelsea Green shared that she will not be competing at WWE WrestleMania 42 this year and will be enjoying the show as a fan.
Thanks for the submission!
“I think this WrestleMania is going to be absolutely insane — because it has to be. We have to put on a show like no other. So I’m really excited to watch it as a fan. You know, I’ll be sitting there backstage watching every single match, doing as much press and media as I can to make sure those seats are filled and that everyone enjoys their time. So I’m really excited,” she said. [H/T: Ringside News]

Chelsea Green comments on her role in WWE
SmackDown star Chelsea Green recently opened up about losing the majority of her WWE matches.
In an interview with 93.7 The Fan, Green noted that her bank account was thriving despite being labeled as a “professional loser” in the company. She also boasted about the house she has with her husband, Matt Cardona.
“Everyone gives me a hard time for being a ‘professional loser’ in this industry because I’m always losing, but like, my bank account ain’t losing. My beautiful house that I built with my husband, that’s not losing,” she said.
It will be interesting to see when the 34-year-old will be cleared to return to the ring on WWE television.
