Tiger Woods’ TGL Teammate Announced As SiriusXM’s Lead Analyst for the Masters at Augusta

Tiger Woods made a spectacular comeback to competitive golf in the finals of Season 2 of his high-tech indoor golf league, TGL. It was the golfer’s first appearance since July 2024, and unfortunately, he was on the losing side. Interestingly, following this defeat, one of the Woods’ teammates is now moving forward to play an important role in the 2026 Masters.

Next week, the Augusta National will host the first golf major of the season, and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the event. There are notable names in the tournament who could earn the coveted green jacket, making the tournament almost unpredictable.

Sirius XM, which will cover the tournament on the radio, recently made a massive announcement about a new analyst who will join them for the final two rounds of the Masters.

This exceptional golf analyst is none other than Kevin Kisner, a member of Tiger Woods’ TGL team at Jupiter Links Golf Club. According to reports, Kisner will analyze the 2026 Masters weekend match alongside Taylor Zarzour. Josh Carpenter gave the update on his X account, where he said:

“SiriusXM says Kevin Kisner will be one of its lead analysts on radio for @TheMasters alongside Taylor Zarzour next week. Kisner will be the lead analyst Saturday/Sunday. Brad Faxon and Brendon de Jonge on Thursday/Friday.”

While Kisner sits at the broadcasting table for Sirius XM, Tiger Woods may or may not be a part of the field.

The golf community was rather hopeful that Tiger Woods would definitely participate in the Augusta National after his comeback in the TGL Season 2 finals. Unfortunately, after Woods was recently engaged in a rollover car accident five minutes from his Jupiter Island, Florida, home, things did not turn out the same.

The golfer was reportedly distracted by the radio and cell phone while overtaking another vehicle, causing him to lose control and eventually roll out his Land Rover. Fortunately, he was unharmed and escaped the car through the passenger window; nonetheless, he was arrested on the same day for destroying public property and DUI, and his case will be reviewed in court later in April.

Following the incident, there were questions about whether Tiger Woods would compete in the Masters, but the golfer clarified the situation with an X post. He stated that he would be taking some time off from sports to recover. He wrote:

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I’m committed to taking the time needed to return to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones, and myself at this time.”

The PGA Tour also released an official statement in which they have extended their support for the 82-time PGA Tour winner.
