The San Francisco 49ers star, George Kittle, and his wife, Claire Kittle, have been recuperating after a tough 2026 NFL season. The tight end suffered a devastating Achilles tear, which put a stop to his goal of securing a Super Bowl victory for the team.

Recently, Claire shared a series of snaps on her Instagram story with her husband. The loved-up couple was seen in Cody Ponce’s Blue Jays jersey as they attended Toronto’s game against the Colorado Rockies. The caption of one of the snaps was:

“Blue Jays all baseball season long 💙”

The caption where they showed off Pounce’s jersey number was:

“Pounce on the back”

Ponce was carted off the field as he suffered a leg injury during the third inning of the game. What was expected to be a powerful return on the pitch after 2021 ended up being a painful moment for the 31-year-old.

George Kittle’s wife Claire opens up on Taylor Swift’s impact on husband’s dream project

Back in June 2025, Taylor Swift stole the show with her performance at the 2025 Tight End University. The TEU is a three-day summer summit that was founded by NFL TEs George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen back in 2021. The main goal of the event is to bring together all the different tight ends from the league for specialized training.

The ‘Are You Ready For It’ singer’s performance brought a lot of eyeballs to the Tennessee event. Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, praised Swift for helping take her husband’s dream project to a completely different height. Speaking on a recent edition of the WAGTAlk podcast, Claire couldn’t help but give the pop icon her flowers.

“Oh my gosh! First of all, Tight End University is so cool because George just, like, dreamt this up, and it happened so organically and naturally,” she said.

She added that having Olsen, Kelce, and Little help out the younger NFL TEs is so much fun in itself, adding Taylor Swift to the equation is just the cherry on top.

“To have partners like Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce do it is so fun. Those boys have really changed the position of tight end for the NFL and for younger generations, and I’m just so proud of them. I mean, having Taylor Swift perform last year — like, how do you beat that?”

George Kittle will make a speedy return for the upcoming NFL season, as reported by National Today.
