Buckley has built a reputation for viral moments, both inside and outside the cage. His fighting style remains explosive and effective, but his public persona has frequently been scrutinized for forced delivery and awkward messaging.

Sean Brady questions Joaquin Buckley’s persona ahead of UFC 328 clash
Sean Brady has escalated tensions with Joaquin Buckley ahead of their scheduled clash at UFC 328. He spoke about an alleged difference in Buckley’s online persona and real-life behavior.
The exchange stems from a prior run-in at the UFC Performance Institute, where Brady claims Buckley did not carry the same intensity he often displays on social media. Brady, who is looking to rebound after a knockout loss to Michael Morales, said the upcoming matchup presents an opportunity to settle lingering issues.
In a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, he said:
“He was just bulls***ing and lying, then he said if you see me on the streets, he would punk me on the streets or some nuta** sh*t. Like, bro. I’m from Philadelphia. You’re not just running up on me like I’m some b*tch.”
He added:
“Now we’re fighting each other. Now, I will address you. Brother, you didn’t punk nobody. You weren’t talking crazy when you saw me in person. Now we get to fight, and now we get to settle it. We’ll see in seven and a half weeks what the f*ck is up.”
