“Classic copium” “7th seed is the limit for him”: NFL fans troll Jordan Love as Packers HC Matt LaFleur hypes $220,000,000 QB’s ceiling
Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has high expectations for veteran quarterback Jordan Love in 2026.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo spoke to LaFleur recently, who said he thinks the “sky is the limit” for the quarterback ahead of his sixth season. Love signed a four-year, $220 million contract extension with the Packers in July 2024.

7th seed is the limit for him,” a fan said.
“Jordan Love “sky’s the limit” in 2026… still developing, still choking in the playoffs. Classic Packers copium 😂,” a fan added.
“Jordan Love has been in the league going on 7 years now. At what point is he no longer considered to have potential and just considered to be who he is? This isn’t saying he sucks but saying “the sky is the limit” for him makes it sound as if he is someone who just entered the league within the last couple years,” a fan said.

“What did you expect him to say… I mean he could have said Jordan really needs to focus on this in his game or that. That’s not mlf style. He doesn’t hold players accountable, ever. He’s not Ben Johnson. And that is why Love will never be great. He’s in year 6 now…” another fan said.
“So in other words he ain’t been doing shit and he look the same good PR Matt,” commented another.
“If by the sky he means the ceiling in his family room. Then yes. I agree,” said another.
Can Jordan Love take the Packers to the promised land in 2026?

Jordan Love has three seasons of playoff experience under his belt, with only one playoff victory to show for it back in 2023. However, with the acquisition of defensive end Micah Parsons last season to bolster their defense and some free agency additions to add depth to their offensive line, the Packers should be primed to build on what they accomplished last season.
Green Bay held on to the very end, just missing out on the NFC North crown to the Chicago Bears, who also eliminated them from the playoffs last season.
Despite only playing 15 games in 2025, Love still managed 3,381 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. Now, hopefully fully healthy entering 2026, Love and company should be able to better compete against their longtime rivals, the Bears, for the NFC North title.
It will be a tall task, however, given Chicago’s rise since the addition of young quarterback Caleb Williams and coach Ben Johnson.
