This poor young puppy was laying on the side of the road, staring straight ahead. He was unable to close his mouth after having his head slammed by a passing vehicle. It fractured his jaw. Without rescue, this boy didn’t have a chance of surviving more than a day or two. Thankfully a neighbor called us immediately and we were able to get Flurry into surgery the same day.

We wired and stitched his jaw back into place and then waited to see if he would eat. And oh, Flurry ate all right! And got back the life he came close to losing. Watch him thank us with a face that won’t stop smiling!
