The Kitchener GO line will see a partial shutdown on Saturday and Sunday due to track work that needs to happen.
People will still be able to catch the GO train in Kitchener and Guelph, but they will need to transfer to a bus to get between the Bramalea GO to Union Station, Metrolinx says.
Service will be modified as a result: the GO train will run from Kitchener to Bramalea, where travelers will need to transfer to a GO bus that will take them to the Highway 407 bus terminal.
From there, they will take the TTC Line 1 subway to arrive at Union Station.

“These track closures are required to make essential improvements to bring you better, faster and more frequent trips,” Metrolinx said in a press release.
The service modifications are related to plans to enable the Kitchener Line for “two way, all-day service,” Metrolinx said.
Regular service is expected to resume on Monday.
