Webber, who is a professional cornhole player, was arrested on Sunday and faces murder charges in the shooting death of Bradrick Michael Wells.
According to TMZ, in lieu of fingerprinting Webber at the jail, authorities took an impression at the ends of his arms instead.
Albemarle-Charlottesville Superintendent Martin Kumer told the outlet that it is department policy in the case of amputees to take an impression of wherever the appendage ends.
In Webber’s case, that meant taking an impression of his forearm.
What happened in the murder case?
According to a news release from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Webber and Wells had been arguing in Webber’s Tesla SUV in La Plata, Md., when things escalated.

Webber allegedly shot and killed Wells, who was sitting in the passenger seat, then pulled over and asked the two people sitting in the back to help pull the victim out of the car.
They refused, jumped out of the vehicle and fled the scene to call police, while Webber also took off, leaving Wells in the car.
The victim was discovered about two hours later in a yard, where he was pronounced dead. Webber was found at a hospital in Charlottesville, Va., where he was charged as a fugitive from justice.
He is now awaiting extradition to Charles County, Md., on first- and second-degree murder charges, as well as two counts of assault in the first degree and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, WTTG reported.
The story went viral earlier this week, with many questioning how a person with no limbs would be able to fire a gun while driving a vehicle.
However, videos posted online from 2024 show Webber deftly loading and firing a 9mm handgun without assistance.

How is Webber being treated in jail?
TMZ reported on Wednesday that Webber told authorities he didn’t need his prosthetic limbs behind bars and hasn’t used the devices for the past several months.
Webber became a quadruple amputee when he was just 10 months old after a blood infection ultimately led to sepsis.
