Wrestling star Ricochet and former wrestling announcer Samantha Irvin are one of the most popular wrestling couples. The high-flying superstar is currently a member of the AEW roster.

Ricochet joined the Jacksonville-based promotion back in 2024, debuting at All In. The high-flyer was coming off a six-year run with WWE, having won multiple titles like the Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, NXT North American Championship, and the WWE Speed Championship. He looked poised to make a major impact in the Tony Khan-led company. Soon after his debut, the star adopted a new edgy attitude, becoming a prominent fixture on the roster and also becoming the inaugural AEW National Champion as leader of The Demand. The 37-year-old star held the National title for 113 days before losing it to “Jungle” Jack Perry at Revolution earlier this month.

Ricochet and Samantha are celebrating an important milestone this week. The Trendsetter took to Instagram to share a story on the momentous occasion. It was a picture of the duo from a year ago when they got married. The couple is celebrating the one-year anniversary of their marriage. The duo tied the knot on March 26, 2025.

Ricochet showed up on AEW this week

It was a tough week for the Lightskin Kingpin as he was mired in controversy over a recent comment online. After the devastating loss to Jack Perry at Revolution, the star mocked a user with multiple sclerosis on Twitter. This caused severe outrage from fans online.

AEW kept the star away from TV over the last week as the backlash swelled for the 37-year-old star. However, he returned to television during the March 25th episode of Dynamite. The One and Only initially apologized for losing his cool during the backstage segment, which sparked the whole controversial incident. Quickly getting back in character, the star then shifted the blame to the management for putting him in a multi-man battle royal for the National title.
