Liverpool will look to sign Real Madrid star in response to Los Blancos’ interest in Ibrahima Konate on a Bosman deal: Reports
Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a deal to sign Antonio Rudiger from Real Madrid amid the Spanish giants’ transfer interest in Ibrahima Konate. The Reds centre-back’s current deal is set to expire at the end of this season.
Ibrahima Konate has been heavily linked to an exit this summer, with no reports of him renewing his deal with Liverpool. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Konate, with defensive issues looming throughout this season. Los Blancos have suffered greatly due to injuries plaguing their backline and are reportedly also keen on offloading certain players to pave the way for new signings.
Thanks for the submission!
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Liverpool are keen on signing Antonio Rudiger from Real Madrid this summer amid Los Blancos’ interest in Ibrahima Konate. Much like Konate’s contract with the Reds, Rudiger’s current deal with Los Blancos ends this season. There are no reports of a renewal yet, with the club allegedly open to letting Rudiger leave.
The aforementioned report further suggests that Manchester United were also looking for an opportunity to sign Antonio Rudiger. However, they are now closer to renewing Harry Maguire’s contract and are unlikely to pursue the German any longer. This gives a boost to Liverpool’s interest, with Rudiger reportedly open to returning to the Premier League this summer.
Latest reports from TEAMtalk suggest that Real Madrid have already made an offer to Konate’s entourage. With the Frenchman on his way out, the Reds will hunt the market for a replacement and signing Rudiger could also offer ways of making an easy swap, given both are free agents.
Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr to sign new deal at the club despite Liverpool interest: Reports

According to Fabrizio Romano (h/t OneFootball), Vinicius Jr is close to signing a new deal with Real Madrid, despite Liverpool’s interest in signing him. Reports of the Brazilian considering an exit from Los Blancos did the rounds during the January transfer window. TEAMtalk reported in December that Chelsea and Manchester City are also eyeing the situation apart from the Reds.
However, things appeared to have changed after the departure of former boss Xabi Alonso, who had reported disagreements with Vinicius Jr. With Alvaro Arbeloa at the helm, the Brazilian is keen on staying at Real Madrid, with his deal set to expire in June 2027.
Romano’s latest reports suggest that President Florentino Perez is keen on renewing Vinicius’s contract despite interest from Premier League sides. The Brazilian was reportedly interested in exploring the options of Liverpool or other English sides, but could now change his mind with Los Blancos pushing for a renewal. As per Romano, the current situation now completely depends on Vinicius to make the choice.
