Puppies Battling Deadly Parvovirus Need Your Support

A litter of four-month-old terrier mix puppies arrived at Lake Lowell Animal Rescue and quickly went home with a foster family.

All seemed to be going well, but a few days later the playful puppies started showing signs of highly contagious and life-threatening parvovirus.

They were rushed to the animal clinic where they were started on treatment. While there is no cure for parvo, the best chance at survival is with supportive care in a clinic with intravenous fluids, medication, and close monitoring.

One puppy named Candy was hit the hardest, but she is responding well to treatment.

With ongoing care and your support, they have a fighting chance at beating this deadly disease.

The medical bills are quickly adding up and the rescue reached out to Greater Good Charities Emergency Animal Medical fund for help. Thanks to your donations, the fund helps save lives by covering the cost of emergency care of rescued animals.

Shelters and rescues do their best to care for all the homeless animals but cannot afford emergency care with their limited budgets that are already spent on pet food.

Donate today to help save these puppies.
