On Friday, members of the local Muslim community gathered at Forest Heights Collegiate Institute in Kitchener to break their 30-day Ramadan fast. Following a prayer session, the community members greeted each other with hugs and shared a meal. CBC K-W’s J.P. Webster spoke to people celebrating.
