Deion Sanders and Karrueche Tran have been dating since last year. Sanders has been married twice, to Carolyn Chambers and Pilar Biggers. He had two children with Carolyn, a daughter named Deiondra and a son named Deion Jr. He had three kids with Pila, including sons Shilo and Shedeur and daughter Shelomi.
Tran, on the other hand, was in a relationship with rapper Chris Brown. They had a complicated relationship, with Tran having a five-year restraining order from Brown two years after their 2015 breakup. She was also in a four-year relationship with former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz from 2017 to 2021.
Deion Sanders says he was close to playing for the Atlanta Hawks
There’s no denying that Deion Sanders is one of the greatest athletes in sports history. Sanders played in the NFL and MLB at the same time, though he was a better football player. He’s in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as one of the greatest cornerbacks in NFL history.
Sanders played in the NFL from 1989 to 2005, winning two Super Bowls, one with the San Francisco 49ers and one with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for five franchises that also include the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens.
In the MLB, Sanders played for four teams from 1989 to 1997, with a short return in 2001. He had stints with the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants.
Speaking to Sports Illustrated back in 2016, Sanders shared that he almost played one game for the Atlanta Hawks.
“I was really close to playing for the Atlanta Hawks for one game,” Sanders said. “(Braves GM Stan Kasten) was gonna allow me to play NBA games, so that I could play three professional sports.”
It would have been a historic feat for Deion Sanders, who could have been the first player to play a pro game for three major sports. He was also a track star during his collegiate years for Florida State.
