The weather has gotten a bit chilly, so on my latest outing out back, I wore one of my sweaters and a knit cap. The outside kitties must be used to the cold because I see them out and about like usual.
It didn’t take long for the peach kitty to show up. My hat had just fallen off, but I don’t think he noticed.
My human took off my hat and gave me a treat before we returned to the enclosed patio. She had something new for the peach kitty.
She felt bad that the peach kitty didn’t like the other toy she found. So when she was at Trader Joe’s she picked up this mouse cat toy for him.
I thought it was kind of cool! But the peach kitty was kind of suspicious about it. He was reluctant to come into the enclosed patio with it there.
So she tossed it outside and he walked up to it cautiously…
And then he grabbed it and ran off with it!
Don’t worry, she got it back. He played with it for a little while then abandoned it. I don’t think he appreciates the toys she gives him.
