You are probably wondering when I would get around to doing more turret photos. As you may know, turret season is the time when the afternoon sun lights up the turret in some interesting ways. And it goes from about March to early October before going dark again. And we’re off to a late start this year! We’ve just been busy doing other things. But we’ll be back with some fun photo and video sessions.

For the first portraits of turret season, my human tried a variety of different exposures and poses instead of sticking to just one. We added some supplemental light for the first couple of photos, then just used natural light and posed me in different spots for a variety of shadows and effects. You can see them all below. No secret messages, since they’re not necessary.
