Manitoba RCMP are asking the public for any information about Evelyn Fortin, a 54-year-old woman who was last seen about two weeks ago by her son at a Thompson-area department store.
It’s possible she is in Winnipeg, about 650 kilometres south of Thompson, but efforts to locate her so far have been unsuccessful, police said in a news release on Tuesday.
RCMP and Fortin’s family are very concerned for her well-being, the release states.
Fortin is described as five foot six and about 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
RCMP are asking anyone with information or who might have seen Fortin to contact the Thompson RCMP detachment at 204-677-6911.
