“Special level of calamity” – Liverpool fans annoyed by dreadful display from star player during 1-1 draw with Spurs

Liverpool fans on X have criticized Andy Robertson after he had a poor defensive performance during their 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur. The two sides faced each other in the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday, March 15.

Dominik Szoboszlai’s free-kick prowess showed no signs of stopping as he brilliantly opened the scoring in the 18th minute. However, the Reds were unable to add on to their advantage with Rio Ngumoha and Mohamed Salah being unable to convert their chances. Richarlison then leveled the scores in the 90th minute to break Spurs’ five-match losing streak.

Robertson had a poor outing as he made an error that led to Richarlison’s goal, created zero chances, lost two duels, and completed zero crosses from two attempts. The Scotsman has struggled to make an impact going forward this season as well, registering two goals and two assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.

One Liverpool fan posted:

“These Robertson last 5 minutes were a special level of calamity”

Another fan tweeted:

“Can we now all see how washed Robertson is? Like I said, he’s finished and people were begging for his “experience and leadership””
