A 20-year-old man who was last seen leaving his home in the rural municipality of West St. Paul early Saturday morning has been found safe, police say. 

The man had last been seen leaving his home in the rural municipality at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Selkirk RCMP said in a news release on Saturday afternoon. 

He was located the same day, police said in an update issued early Saturday evening.

CBC News has removed the man’s name and image to protect his privacy now that he has been found.
