Danhausen’s curse has ripple effects, and Jelly Roll seemed to have played right into this on SmackDown, as he would end up accidentally knocking out a WWE legend in a freak moment.

This week on SmackDown, Jelly Roll was scheduled to go on Miz TV. He asked his good friend, Randy Orton, for any advice, and he was simply told by the WrestleMania-bound Viper that he needed to lay his fists in if The Miz started talking too much. Still, he managed to keep his composure for the most part. Prior to this segment, The Miz was cursed by Danhausen by once again rejecting his pitch for a collaboration of sorts.

If the microphone not working wasn’t a foreshadowing, then what would happen certainly was. Jelly Roll and The Miz had a bit of a back-and-forth, and Kit Wilson came out. The singer admitted that everybody kind of likes Kit Wilson, but Wilson was having none of it. He ended up calling the country star “fatphobic” for setting unrealistic standards by….losing weight. The interaction saw the singer get frustrated and go for a knockout blow. Instead, Wilson ducked, and The Miz ended up getting knocked out cold, with Danhausen’s curse officially paying off in a big way.

It’s going to be a fun few weeks, as it was officially announced that Kit Wilson will be using his time next week to call the country singer out. One has to wonder what the road to WrestleMania has in store for him. But one can only imagine that Jelly might just have to team up with somebody else (not named Randy Orton) to face The Miz and Kit Wilson at WrestleMania.

Either way, there are still over four weeks to build up to the match, so it may not require too much effort from WWE.
