“That lil white girl got tired of the disrespect” – WNBA Fans Explode as Camera Catches Caitlin Clark Leaving Angel Reese Hanging in Awkward Moment

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has teamed up with some of the best US stars for the FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico. That includes playing alongside her old rival, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese. The two are some of the youngest players in Team USA, together with Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers.

During their dominant 91-48 win against Puerto Rico, fans noticed Clark’s interaction with Reese. When she checked into the game, the Fever star gave her teammates a high five. Reaching the former LSU star, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year turned around and ignored the former college star’s offer to high-five.

Fans noticed how Clark left her USA teammate hanging, and they reacted to it on X.

“This is all i ever wanted to see in life….that lil white girl got tired of the disrespect,” a fan said.

“He really doesn’t f**k with her 😭😭” another fan commented.

“I can’t blame her. Angel Reese was shoving CC while she dribbling ball half court. She’s not a PG. CC is,” one fan said.

Any disparaging remarks between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese were attempted to be silenced by other fans.

“They was hugging last time we seen them. Next,” someone commented.

“She turned before. Stop forcing problems,” a comment read.

“She turned her head before Angel reached out. Let’s not force an issue here,” one fan commented.

Even Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy reacted to the interaction between the two WNBA stars.

“I don’t think Caitlin saw Angel but I really really hope she did,” Portnoy posted.

The two have a media-driven feud that began when they were in college. In the 2023 NCAA Division I women’s basketball championship game, Reese led LSU past Clark’s Iowa. She did the “you can’t see me” taunt at the star guard, which sparked the rivalry and carried over to the WNBA.

How Has Caitlin Clark Played for Team USA?

Caitlin Clark has been sensational on the floor, proving that she’s an integral part of any team she plays for. Clark had a great performance in their opening game against Senegal, finishing with 17 points and 12 assists off the bench. She was reliable from deep and went 4-for-5.

Against Puerto Rico, she had a quieter game. The Fever star had eight points, three rebounds and two assists on 33.3% shooting. Even though she didn’t have the most points, Caitlin Clark’s presence off the bench was still a huge factor for Team USA.
