Hank & Tank’s recent run in WWE marked the strongest phase of their career, transforming them from NXT underdogs into title-winning powerhouses. The duo finally broke through to the top at Stand & Deliver 2025 when they won the NXT Tag Team Championship in a massive battle, ending FrAxiom’s long reign.
Both men have incredible chemistry in the squared circle, and have not been seen on WWE TV since the October 21, 2025 episode of NXT. The tag team lost a massive match to OTM on the episode, marking the beginning of a break for both men. During their absence from the TV, the duo managed to win the NOAH GHC Tag Team Championships last month, making headlines all around the world.

While fans had been waiting for one of the most dynamic tag teams on the NXT roster to return, the company made a massive announcement this week at NXT Deadline. The duo is set to return to the Shawn Michael’s led brand next ween following their excursion to NOAH.
While it is still unknown what the future holds for the former NXT Tag Team Champions following their return, time will tell if they make their way back into the title picture right after their comeback next week.
Will Hank & Tank return to face the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions?
Right before their excusion break, Hank & Tank had an incredible storyline with Darkstate. The latter managed to become the NXT Tag Team Champions since, and Hank & Tank could return to revisit their storyline with Darkstate yet again.
A potential return to revisit their feud could be an incredible decision in its own, and could lead to a potential change in the title picture as well. Time will tell what WWE has in store for the stars next.
